Google is one the best known, if not the best known, search engines in the world today. Google was originally established by Larry Page and Sergey Brin when they were students at Stanford University. It is now seen as being the biggest search engine in the world and is the chosen solution of many web surfers because of its speed of response and the accuracy of results it gives.
The name Google was given to the search engine as a play on the mathematical word Googol. The aim of the initial build here was to harness the vast amounts of information that are available online for search engine users and to put it together so that it can all be easily accessed as quickly as possible. A high ranking in Google search results is something that most website owners will aspire to achieve.
