Google Checkout is a secure Ecommerce system offered by the search company Google. This system can be used both by people who are buying products and services from the Internet and those that are selling on the Internet. This system offers a one-stop tracking/data site for all the purchases/sales that you make and has built in fraud measures to make sure that your transactions are secure.
If you want to use Google Checkout when you are buying something from an Internet site then you’ll need to look for sites that have signed up the scheme. When you get to the checkout area here you then simply click on the Google Checkout button instead of using the site’s own checkout system. This will take you to your Checkout account where you can complete your purchase.
If you are selling online and want to use Google Checkout then you can add it to your site and to any AdWords ads that you run with Google itself. These ads will then show a user that you are a member of the system. This system gives merchants a range of benefits including a Chargeback Resolution service and a Payment Guarantee policy which might be useful if you have a payment problem.
