Most companies will have a structured system in place that is set up to handle disciplinary issues. This is an important issue for any business and it is important that the procedures here are set up to both protect the individual and the business itself. If a business doesn’t get this right then a disgruntled employee might make a claim against them in an Employment Tribunal.
