In this module we are going to explore an effective model for marketing. Here is the traditional marketing model displayed on the slide. You may recognise the 4 P’s of price, product, promotion and place.
Traditionally, companies would choose the product or service they wished to sell, set the price and then the method of delivery, or place, where the product can be accessed such as via the internet or in a retail shop.
Finally, the company would create a mix of various promotional activities in order to raise awareness of the product and to eventually convert this awareness into sales.
